Anonymous | DVD 25 serious problems. I am completely fed up with the DVD 25. It will lock up during a firmware upgrade for no reason. It happened to me and lots of others and HK will not touch it. They will claim it is your fault and will not fix it even under warranty. Apparently the memory chips get upgraded half-way and there is no way to reset them or even to reload the minimal firmware needed to do an upgrade from scratch. Very cheap design from HK. Anonymous | Well i tried Apacehes region free firmware update! Everything went o.k...but the region free didnt work only the firmware! The player works fine! IF THE FIRMWARE SOMEHOW DOES NOT WORK TRY TO POWER OFF AND THEN HOLD CLEAR BUTTON FOR 5-7 SEC. POWER WILL BE ON! |
