I just got a used spare tv that a Sanyo model avm-2568c, I'm trying to hook up a "gold star" model dv7511mnc dvd player. The hookups look compatible (red, yellow, and white) and there's a spot for each...the problem is that the tv didn't come with a remote and I'm using a RCA systemlink 3 universal remote that doesn't have an AUX button that would usually take you to the channel that you can watch DVD's on. I've tried going through all the channels manually to see if one will come up with the DVD player running and nadda... what is up?
