I have 2 Panasonic DVD Recorders. EH55 and a E85H. I setup my E85H in the living room after I got my EH55. Everthing was working fine for 3 months. Then just this last week the TV Guide on my E85h is not working even though the EH55 is working fine. I do not receive listings. I have tried to unplug; reset to factor setings; and resubmit my set parameters. Nothing is working. I have Cox cable in Manhattan KS. Does anyone have any thoughts?
First; The factory reset default zipcode is 99999 Try setting up using this, allow the unit to receive data overnight 9it should not find any). Then reinsert your zipcode and go through the overnight waiting procedure again.
2nd: If the first soulution did not work I suspect your cable company is now stripping out the dat stream containing the guide data, this is happening in many places now. Be sure you have the coax going in directly to your E85, not via a cable box.
