Actually the specs under rating this receiver
This is what I see so far just from looking at its specs:
- Works like a regular SD plus HD
- Has an HDMI outlet for HD TV
- Has its own USB flash drive for external memory for MP3 or external USB hard drive 1GB
- Can be used as a DVD player/recorder
- Works like a TIVO or DVR stop, pause, rewind or record If you just install an extra optional Hard drive
- Dual tuners for watch/record 2 programs at same time
- QAM tuner for cable reception
- Can access internet directly via network cable RJ-45 without need for null cable or USB for download etc.
- You can watch free channels worldwide thru internet without a dish
- Has internal Arcade capability if you download emulator from internet

Upload

I have no idea about their editing tools such as cut out commercials, shorting, trimming etc. If it has any of that at all. Their specs don't say. Their website is poor and I have no idea about their service.
I had to check someone selling it on line who must of read instructions on box and gave more detail than their distributors.
On a scale 1 to 10 give it a 9 based on limited specs available.
BUT BUY at YOUR OWN RISK
Let me know how you like it maybe it is a good deal after all.

02/22/2007 Update:

For those of you who are sending me questions "how to connect 8PSK-to-USB2 to FTA receiver ?":
This adapter was designed to work with PC, and provided drivers work on PC only.
As of today, CaptiveWorks' CW-3000HD is the only FTA receiver which was proven to work with such adapter.
The reason is simple: this receiver is a custom PC running Linux (and 8PSK-to-USB2 adapter is already supported by Linux).
As for other FTA receivers, you have to ask their manufacturers (not me) how to connect external DVB-s card to these receivers.
Presence of USB 2.0 connector in the receiver does NOT make it compatible with all USB 2.0 devices
