Is there a way to hook up two different components if you only have one HD input? I'm always having to switch out the PS3 when I want to watch TV, and vise versa.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I think that works backwards from what you want though. I have the same issue with that TV--cable box HD and PS2 HD (yep, some games did have it). Only one input on the TV and the receiver doesn't do HD.

So multiple inputs to one output is the ticket, I think.

Chris,

How right you are! Here is the opposite...

That looks more like it. I did a bit of googling (jeeze, now it's an adjective) and came up with these also:

http://www.shoptronics.com/hdrecovisose.html
http://shopper.cnet.com/Cable_Electronics_Component_Audio_Video_HD_Switch_SW104H D_AV_selector/4014-7871_9-31893900.html
http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/1154A.html

What I like more about these are: the first three all have remotes (i.e., can probably add to my Harmony's macros), the last is a signal-detecting auto switch.

While I don't much care about the audio switching--my receiver handles all those fine, #2 & 4 on my links have both coax and optical digital switching, and #3 has coax digital in addition to the standard stereo.

I'm liking that one at RAM--plug it in, drop it in the back of the system & forget about it.

I have the same TV. What adapter do I need to be able to get 1080i resolution for both cable and PS3 without having to switch the cables in the back every time?
