Just make sure you use good crimps if you customize your own RG-6 Coaxial
Also follow Man Instructions for Angle postion

Let me know how it works for you

Regarding the question you asked in Sat forum

Your TV should have Aspect preset for size and ratio
Also some TVs may have wizard set-up but no big deal

What is Aspect ratio?
for TV either 4:3 or 16:9 repersenting small or big screen
But each aspect has different resolution affecting overall size

1080p
1080i
720p
720i
480 etc

Keep in mind sometimes during HD broadcast some clips or commercials appear in 4:3 aspect ratio there is not much you can do about it

Feel free to ask here any questions

SO i hooked it up yesterday and i get maybe 12 channels, but all of them look like my cable analog channels at best. even the HD programs are definitely not "HD quality," compared to my HD channels that I subscribe to.
i have manuvered the antenna around everywhere and the picture is nothing that i was expecting.
i am thinking it is because i am in an appartment complex and the buildings around me are affecting the signal.
what else could it be that i can try?

also i bought an additional rg-6 cable (35ft)incase the 6ft one connected to the antenna is not long enough. Should i try to connect these and see if i can pick up a better signal from the back of the house?

Which one and model you got? What town & state?
They should be a number that you can call them

I also gave you antennaweb-org based and town and state broadcast if you set antenna in that direction you should get superior quality
