4DTV is a completely different receiver than what is required for DN or DTV. 4DTV is only for c-band satellite and does require a BUD ( big ugly dish )
If you want more info I can post it here or point you to a few sites. Short answer is no you cannot receive the signal from the DN sat's with a 4DTV.
4DTV is the best of the best it gets true digital not compressed like DN or DTV so its worth the trouble of installing a BUD if you can...
