I hope someone has encountered a similar problem and can offer some advice, this is driving me NUTS; here is the problem:
Setup: The 3910 and a Direct TV Sat box are connected to a Gefen 2x2 switch via HDMI cables, Video out goes to a projector (no video problems whatsoever) and the audio off the HDMI switch goes to a Denon 4802 receiver via an optical cable. The 3910 audio is set to MULTI.
Problem: While watching a DVD, then pausing, switch to SAT to watch for a bit, then back to the DVD, there is no sound, but there is video. Last night, anything that momentarily interrupted the DVD audio, even switching between menus on the DVD caused no audio. I was able to get the audio back by going to the 3910 audio menu and selecting MULTI again.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Perhaps I have something wrong in the set-up?
