Hi,

I am trying to get the Asian channels that are on Echo 7. I saw the listing of channels in www.lyngsa*.com. Please let me know what should be the DiscEq and Frequency that I need to choose?

Thanks,
Dsh

I dont get Asian channels on echo 7 with a 30" dish and a circular LNB that gets all the other DN-Bev sat's. I changed lnb frequency, 20000 to 26000 and everthing i could see to do with no luck. Mabee someone else can find it.

121 uses linear lnb. 119 uses circular lnb.
10750 is the freq.you set in your antenna setting in the receiver for 121. 11250 is freq setting for 119.here is little info on how you can receive 121

Hey dsh
Try Dish Network at AMC 16 @ 118.8W.
You will find a lot of Asian Channels there.
There is no need to move your Dish.
As you can see there is only a split hair,
between Echo 7 @ 119 & AMC 16 @ 118.8.oW.
If your receiver don't show AMC 16, just add it.
}Plus all the TPs; as shown at Lyngsat.
Polarization is same as Echo 7 Circular.LOL

Jay: What you saw for Echo 7 on Lyng**** is really AMC 16 as stated by Kevin above. You should be able to get tha AMC 16 with a 30-33" dish and circular LNB.
There is a differnce in what Indo-Pakistani channels you get. On Echo 3(61.5W) and Echo 9)121W) and on Echo 1/2 (148W) you get Zee and Sony channels, etc. - these are the channels which in India are "paid" channels.
On Intelsat 5 (97W) and on AMC 16 (118.8W) you get channels like Doordarshan, NDTV, regional language channels, etc. - what in India would be called free channels or government channels.

For ANY Dishnet info, channels, TP's, go to..

http://ekb.dbstalk.com/dishlist.htm

Most international channels are on the 61.5 and 148 birds..circular LNB and 11250 freq, just like the 110 and 119...just need another dish and LNB or can add a LNB (to 61.5) to a large dish..
