I do not have a HD tv and do not see myself getting one in the near future. My tv is a 32 inch flat screen and I am debating between the Sony DVP325 and Toshiba 3900. The tosiba is a prog. scan while the sony is not. I have read that the sony will do a great job with tv's that are not HD. However, I have also heard that the toshiba is good for any tv. Please recommend which would be better for picture quality for DVDs. Thanks

If you don't have (or plan on having) a HDTV, you don't need to spend the extra $ on a progressive DVD. They are really coming down in price though and you never know....
