Hi- New to the site... Does anyone know if you can record programming from directv basic (no dvr or tivo dvr) to a stand alone dvr or dvd-r without signal interference? I am in the process of purchasing the new LG 42" plasma with time machine dvr; and want to make sure there will be no recording problems before buying such a high priced unit...
