i have a 32" rca model: g31100ck...in the back it has external speaker inputs and a switch for internal/external/both...one day i hooked up some speakers and turned it on there was the loud semi-hipitched sound coming from the speakers, so i turned it off..unhooked the external speakers and turned it back on, but then the tv had no sound at all..could someone tell me how to fix it? thanks.

Where the external speakers hook up to an external amp at the same time? If so, you blew the outputs in the tv. Call a tech or connect the rca's outputs to the external amp.

It still sounds like you blew the outputs. Call a tech ($100 plus repair)or use the rca variable line outputs connected to an external amp and speakers
