Hi,

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me walk through a problem i am encountering trying to find channels for my parents' Pansat 2700A.

I uploaded BIN 281 onto this receiver. After doing so, i deleted all of their channels so that i can "refresh" their receiver with channels they might have not been receiving. Anyways...i'm pretty sure that this is where i made a mistake.

So i am now trying to find a way to get them their channels back. I tried doing a Satelite Scan, Network Scan and Blind Scan, but all three options failed because no transponders were found.

Looking further into their setup, i see that the levels and quality of all three are very low or non-existant. Here is the Antenna Setup for the three:

ECHO 7/Ku
LNB Type: Standard
LNB Local-Freq.: 11250
22kHz: ON
DiSEqC: #2
Legacy SW: None
Skew: 0
TP: [1] 12223 V20.000
Positioner Setting: Disable
Satelite Scan: ALL
Level: 27%
Quality: 0%

ECHO 3/Ku
LNB Type: Standard
LNB Local-Freq.: 11250
22kHz: OFF
DiSEqC: #1
Legacy SW: None
Skew: 0
TP: [1] 12223 V20.000
Positioner Setting: Disable
Satelite Scan: ALL
Level: 27%
Quality: 0%

ECHO 6.8
LNB Type: Standard
LNB Local-Freq.: 11250
22kHz: ON
DiSEqC: #3
Legacy SW: None
Skew: 0
TP: [1] 12223 V20.000
Positioner Setting: Disable
Satelite Scan: ALL
Level: 27%
Quality: 0%

Before i deleted the channels, the channels found on this receiver were mostly non-North American channels.

Thanks for any info you can help me with!}}

Check few things..
Check the feed cable is secured properly into the receiver.
Check the signal stregn through your remote control button.
U shud see"sig" button.
If the strength is good then,
Try uoloading the new bin and keys.
Shud work.

Take the DiSEqc off.
Connect each Sat cable directly to receiver and scan.
Once all Sats are scanned put the DiSEqc back.
Make sure if u connect Echo 7 to port one of DiSEqc then on receiver setup u selct same DiSEqc number.
