We are finally moving up to a flat panel HDTV. With the holidays coming up pretty quickly, is there a better time to go shopping for one? Before or after Christmas? Is there a traditional time of year when prices drop as newer models are introduced? Thanks in advance...
late summer is the best time to buy. prices will be lower before christmas than right after. i used to think it was the other way around. right now is a good time to buy or you could wait and see what holiday sales come up.
A lot of the price deflation has already occurred in the 42 and 50 inch plasma sector FYI. The intro of 1080P displays and 55 inch plus displays still leaves a lot of room for decreasing prices in those sizes however.
