how about the diqeq switch some sellers claim that pansat and viewsat are different, some say is the same, my 2500a pansat's switch is damaged at ports 1 and 2, currently im using ports 3 and 4, i also have a vs xtrm with its miniswitch.

thanks

It would be nice if people could recommend good diseqc switches. So far I have had problems with the different brands that I got.

The best disque switch is a Spaun which cost about $100...the rest are all about the same for $5...most people just always keep a spare, cause they are so cheap and go often...and the closer to the receivers the better, and inside the attic (out of the weather) and easily acessable is the best..

lk, at efta and at freetoairdish you can see co*lsat and pansat switches, and at other sites they are just switches, does that mean you can use them either way?

like a pansat diseq switch with a viewsat receiver?

I would think that all switches are universal, despite the brand. LK, I guess I'll stick with the crappy cheap ones if the best one costs that much!
