I currently have an old white-westinghouse TV hooked up to cable in my dorm room but i do not get all of the channels because it is set to antenna. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to switch it to cable so that i can get all of the available channels. It seems like I have tried everything but still I get no results. Is there anyone who knows how to help me switch the TV to cable. If so please post back. Thank you!

Are you sure that old TV has a cable-ready tuner?

I dont know a whole lot about TV's but I'm sure that its cable ready. I have had it hooked up and working fine in the past. but how do check that? It's just that It's set to antenna and needs to be switched to cable and I have no idea how to do that.

There's no hope for you without the TV's model number and approximate date of manufacture.

I take it you've lost the owners manual and the original remote control?
