HI all Seems too good to be true that everyone all of a sudden is up and running again after such a long long wait.Who really did fix this and how long should or will it last. Newbie here so please dont bash as will all should be watching tv right now instead of doing this
The truth is thanks to viewsats bin the linux coders broke viewsat encriptions and released the info public.All the bins are fixed because of the linux coders work.
What's more, the VS bin only contained the code for Map57 and Map3B. When the next ECM rolls out, only VS will have the next code. If they do another crappy job in trying the lock the bin, then the linux guys MIGHT crack it open again and release that code.
As soon as the code is public, it takes under 5 days to get most STBs running again.
