i got a reply from a mr. massey and i have a couple of more questions. what are RCAS ansd wahat is the s video is it one of the colored thingys that go into the back of the tv and the dvd recorder. Also i did some messing around with it and in the booklet it says i need to set my tuner to be able to record but the tuner setup bar is not lit up for me because i don't have standard cable. here's what i want to do. lets say i want to record a show on tnt with my dvd recorder how do i get the dvd to record my digital cable box channels? thanks in advance four your help i really appreciate it.
Connect from the box to the recorder on a line input, L1, L2, etc., and set the recorder on the input used. If there isn't an input button on the remote, go through the channels until you get to the right one.
