Has anybody had any experience with color banding on a plasma display?
I just purchased my first plasma, a Samsung HP-S4253 and noticed that there are some faint blue bands in the display. I first noticed this when I used the white screen anti-burn-in feature. Now that I know it's there, I tend to notice it in black and white content and also in color content where there is quite a bit of white.
I was in an electronics store recently and put up the white screen on their display model of the same unit and noticed exactly the same thing: small bands of light blue on both sides of the panel and one just right of center, all running from top to bottom. Three total, about two inches wide, and again, these are very faint.
