I am in the market to buy my first DVD player and am looking for an entry level machine that can play DVDs as well as MP3s and CD-Rs. I've sorta narrowed it down to these two models. I wondered what anyone's opinion on which one is better or is there another model I should be looking at? I'm looking to spend around $150 - $175. Thanks!

Think about the Pioneer 440 it plays all of the formats you want plus Pioneer has a good rep. when it comes to DVD players.
