HOW? -The first one ("i had a 102rev105 in a dn receiver spoofed to rev109"), will work IF & only IF you saved the card unlock password, then unlock it again using same password, aux it with cs,DONE!Watch TV... If you did not save the password, there is NO way to unlock it, at this point of time. -whereas, the second one ("a virgin" 102 at rev 103...), just needs to be unlocked, aux it with CS, DONE! watch TV.... -"do locked cards work at all??" = NO! Bronze Member Username: MrmeatPost Number: 51 Registered: Jul-06 | and by the way, i've heard only x2 card readers could be read by the cools@t and not the clone card readers, but i have a clone card reader and where it connects doesn't fit perfect but if you push it in hard enough it works, atleast from the cools@t menu it reads it as there. |

That's why it's working. Card has to be locked to work (called stream lock or factory lock). A locked card needs to be unlocked before you can program/write/AUX it. Once programmed, it will then be locked again. Q: couldn't it just be unlocked like other locked cards before rev109 A: It can be unlocked, if it is before 109. REV 103 to 105 would be easy, without looping the card (but NOT a guarantee). The rest, you will need extensive reading, or you may loop it. Why extensive? Factors to consider, Rev#, type of unlocker, what script to use, Script configuration, Pot (potentiometer) ohm's setting, Dip switch setting, Voltage (sometimes), glitching timing and etc. Q: Is one setting/config, better than the other to a specific REV# or blah, blah blah? A: THIS IS TESTING. Your neighbor could be lucky, but that was your neighbor. Q: ADVISE? A: You have the dough? Why not! Reminder, a lot of pirates are selling their golds on the net, which I wouldn't trust. It's either you get rust or you get nothing, after you give them your silver $. ALL SALES R FINAL! |
