I'm having trouble using my remote. I put in new batteries and the red light lights up but the tv doesn't respond.
I'm not lazy - I can get up and change the channel and adjust the volume on the tv - but I can't access any other inputs (like a dvd player) without accessing the menu with the remote.
I'm thinking that the problem is the remote receiving unit but can't find any local place to have it looked at.
