I burnt out all the rest trying to figure out which plasma to order. I need a 60" or better, my signal is satellite and I have existing surround sound. I'll wall mount. That spells monitor to me but I've got sales guys saying I'll be sorry for buying an industrial model (Pioneer PDP6100 HD).I'm being steered towards a Samsung HPR6372 Pro kit HD. Two tuners, speakers, stand: stuff I don't need. I'm told throw the stand and speakers away, it's still a better picture. The Pioneer doesn't list a contrast ratio, the Samsung is 10000 to 1. I read an article here that in real world viewing it doesn't really matter. Does it? HDMI: I only need one, but there's different versions? What about a Panasonic TH-65PHD8UK? I love to hear any advice for anyone who's not asking for my Visa Card number. Sorry for the rant, I'll stop as my last pixel is fading......Dean.
