This was indeed Blacklist, and you can plainly see, I was in the chat as well. It happened this morning, and Blacklist will be back in the channel at 12:00 am EST. He was logged in as an op, and since his name is password protected, it could have been the one and only Blacklist. It was also verified by the other chat ops as well.
I can confirm what Bob bob says is true, BL was on as i was getting ready for work, If you would like proof I can screen scrape the enitre IRC off my logs and paste them here. He will also be on this evening at around 9:00 PM PST to provide another update with a strong possibility of when the Pansat fix will be completed. He also eluded to the fact that VS is not a permanent fix, but a patch, when the next ecm comes down, VS will be down a while. Thats why I held off on buying a VS until the next hit. I kind of hope it comes soon so we know who the real bull sh1tter is.

This shouldn't be VS against BL, or vice versa. The FTA thing didn't start like that, but a few people are always trying to stir up $hit to try and make it happen. FTA is FTA, whether is be Pansat, or Viewsat.
BL has yet to give a timeline for a release. He has never duped or lied to us about previous fixes, unlike TDG who for 2 months talked about a fix being release Wednesday... Friday... Wednesday...Friday. Sure in the end they bought a fix to save face, but I believe BL when he says their solution is temporary, and when the next ECM hits we'll see. Everyone says VS encrpted their bin, so BL can't release it. So what your telling me is VS has better encryption software than a multi-billion dollar company like DN? Believe what you want, all you bashers are just free tv'er newbies. I may eat crow for putting this out there, so be it, but until then I'll believe BL over TDG.
