I do not want free anything. I am not looking to unlock channels that I otherwise would not have.
I do want a cleaner guide system than the one that I currently have. I have a Sci. Atl. 8300 issued by Adelphia (bought out by Comcast). I HATE the menu system. No favorites list, shows me channels I don't get, it is clunky and honestly, a deal breaker (as I haven't turned off my Dish service yet, just got cable yesterday).
Any way to replace the Adelphia guide with something else? There must be a hack to it.
