What channels can you get with FTA and what is needed to make it work.I am assuming a bigger dish.

No, not a bigger dish, although it is always helpful. You need a Linear LNB, not Dish or DTV lnb, and Lyngsat. Lyngsat lists all the sats in the sky. If you look on this forum, there are good listings for what is available.

I find a good Primestar dish works great with little or no signal loss due to storm.

Basically I want to know if there are any good channels I like, to make it worth while.Are there any thing good out there.And thanks Joe

For english and spanish .G10R.123W.15 of each(locals) from mostly.You need a 30"dish or bigger.A linear lnb.A old primestar is perfect.You can also do amc3 for pbs channells.A good 30" dish is about $85.00.Theres othere on c band but thats a 6' or bigger.Not a lot but worth while.Suplements the arieal antenna.Most of G10R is locals from arkansas missouri and louisnana.Theres a few others in english.Lots more in spanish on other birds.
