ben_dover, i have no time to type all the crap, just got it c/p from other site, and if think there is no fix for fta the why waste your time reading all the treads, why dont go some where else
rajesh u have been made, now go somewhere else and spread your bullcrap. If u copy from another site then provide the source so people can verify it. If I belive there will be a fix doesn't mean I have to belive all crap that is floating around.
Its IRC. There can't be a source for that. Its like copying from a chat room. Either way, we'll know soon. If the fix doesn't turn up, it would be as if this thread was never started.
rejesh - I do respect your 90+ posts however and unfortunately, IRC logs are not tamper proof, not to mention the fact that guy could be a fake for all we / you know .... * does't TDG uses a registered nickname? * was his nickname checked with a nickserv command to verify the date it was registered? * what server was that on? * why the quit message nickname does not match the case on the log? Did you re-type it?
these are all questions you will not be able to answer - but... next time you might want to validate.
Now, even if that was/is a legit log, TDG is a human being and have made mistakes before ... even developers, engineers, programmers can go beyond their own dead lines against some expectations ... but there is no business requirement here... there are no VIPs or CEOs pushing for a "fix"... this is done on the coder's own time between their jobs and family time, naps and meals.
i.e,.: I'm building a web server for a friend ... for free... ask him how long its taking? over a month. why? because I'm doing it on my own time and not getting paid for it. Theres no money driving speed of actions in my particular case.
the coders working this "fix" not only are doing on their own time, they also have to break down / reverse engineer code. Do they have pressure from the fta manufactures? Do they get money for this like some people out there say? I doubt it. I don't really know because I'm not working any fixes for this but I do however, have common sense and I do know all you and me can do is... simply wait. and wish it is all true. *positive thinking*
