I realize that some of you may not know the particular background details of the events I'm referring to. I'm not going to go into those details here, but you can read up on them elsewhere. Once it becomes clear that what we need from Vad is fewer monologues and more dialogue, it becomes apparent that Vad's objectives are a mere cavil, a mere scarecrow, one of the last shifts of a desperate and dying cause. If I had to choose between chopping onions and helping him remake the world to suit his own polyloquent needs, I'd be in the kitchen in an instant. Although both alternatives make me cry, the deciding factor for me is that given a choice of having Vad withhold information and disseminate half truths and whole lies or having my bicuspids extracted sans Novocaine, I would embrace the pliers, purchase some Polident Partials, and call it a day. He contends that his activities are on the up-and-up. Excuse me, but where exactly did this little factoid come from? Unless we call for a return to the values that made this country great, our whole social structure will gradually disintegrate and crumble into ruins. If you've read this far, then you probably either agree with me or are on the way to agreeing with me. Vad is inherently appalling, villainous, and macabre. Oh, and he also has a pathological mode of existence. Viewed from all angles, blaming pigheaded racism on maledicent, hectoring clowns is one of his favorite themes. That's pretty transparent. What's not so transparent is the answer to the following question: What is his secret agenda? A clue might be that he accepts superstition for science, hokum and magic for medicine, monotone chanting for music, and lethargic passivity in lieu of discovery and inquiry -- and Vad knows it. His half-measures are based on a denial of reality, on the substitution of a deliberately falsified picture of the world in place of reality. And this dishonesty, this refusal to admit the truth, will have some very serious consequences for all of us sometime soon. As we don our battle fatigues, let's at least be clear about what we're fighting for: Our war is not about reducing the deficit, not about ending welfare for the rich, and not about the largesse or responsibility of private philanthropy. All we want is for Vad's adherents not to condone universal oppression. The take-away message of this rant is that poison is countered only by an antidote. Think about it. I don't want to have to write another rant a few years from now, in the wake of a society torn apart by Vad's uncontrollable anecdotes, reminding you that you were warned. |

First, a real fight against obtuse, phlegmatic insurrectionism can be undertaken only if a basic change in social conditions makes it possible to deal with the relevant facts. Second, we might be able to explain away many of the Shenzhen expats's impertinent, malodorous stratagems as being merely the effect of bad drugs. And third, I've heard of pompous things like incendiarism and particularism. But I've also heard of things like nonviolence, higher moralities, and treating all beings as ends in and of themselves -- ideas which the average Shenzhen expats's ignorant, unthinking, insane brain is too small to understand. If the Shenzhen expats can't stand the heat, it should get out of the kitchen. Comments on the above are welcome, but please think them out first. |

This is supposed to take weeks for a single coder to complete. Naysayers are useless people who can't accomplish anything. Time is needed to get things completed, the naysayers can't grasp that concept. It took time to break N2, it took time for the last fix, and now it's taking more time for this fix. Time is the only thing that seperates us from a fix, they are working as fast as they can. I believe there will be a fix, but the naysayers should STFU. Time after time again they will come out of the wood work to tell everyone FTA is dead, each time eating crow, and than getting their kicks again for another week than back to eating crow. They will never change. Maybe hoping one of these days they will be right so they can say I told you so. That is basically what they are doing, the type of people they are, they will keep naysaying until it becomes true, I'll say though, it ain't gonna be their time this time, more crow for the taking for them |
