I got this 32" Rca colortrack from a friend, one day after I turned it off, it wouldn't come back on. I tried unplugging it, but after 30 min it still didn't come back on, the power indicator blinked 4 times and then went off. The next day I plugged it in and it came on. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this tv? I figure the blinking is a code indicator, I just don't know what it means.
The move (assuming you moved it from your friend's) might have dislodged dust. Try de-dusting the tuner and power switch components with a can of air. Sometimes dust gets on contacts and creates strange problems (e.g. the blinking power light might be a power-cycling issue, not a code). I just resuscitated an ancient ColorTrak with this method.
