Fortec ultra channels gone, help

I have a fortec ultra and every now and then my channels are gone, so i call the guy that installed it, and for 20 bucks he puts in the codes for the nagravison 2 and i get everything back. I searched google and came across this board, so basiclly is there a way i can get these codes without paying this guy?
