can anyone tell me what leads i need and how to connect these items so that i can record from the freeview box while watching the tv or a dvd is any of this possable ? thankyou in advance for any advice anyone can give me.
We use coaxial and RCA jacks in the USA. I would try the Scart from the box to the vcr and from the vcr to the tv. Use 3 set cables from the dvd player to the tv and from the dvd to vcr (ours are red white and yellow). Good luck
By the way, I have a tv, stereo, vcr, vcr/dvd player, wireless headset, and game box all hooked up together. I needed some y cables. Thankly most of the wires are inside a cabinet. If your tv doesn't have great sound, then you may want to hook up a stereo next.
