Is there anyway you can watch one channel and record another.
Here is the way I connected my receiver, VCR, TV combination. The cable from the LNB to the receiver, one cable from the receiver to the TV, and another from the receiver to the VCR. With this configuration I can't watch one channel while recording another one.
geek, you're dreaming. Because the receiver acts as a tuner, replacing the one in your tv or vcr, you can not watch one channel and record another. The only way you could would be if the receiver had a dule tuner, which it doesn't.
