Pansat2500a clone step by step instructions on bin loading

Step By Step

Before you start, set your reciever to factory settings.

1. Connect your Pansat2500a clone to your computer via serial cable (straight).
2. Turn on your computer and unzip the files that you have first BL loader
and than the bin file.
3. Turn on your reciever (the back button) wait for 20 seconds until it turnes on .
4. Run BL Loader.
5. Choose Com 1 in Com settings window.
6. Load the bin file that you have in to the window below (the file must be unzipped)
7. Select bin (not boot)
8. Hit Write bin Button and wait until it is finished than hit ok and exit.
(do not turn off your reciever untill you see the window (completed)).
9. Turn off your reciever and disconnect from a computer.
10.Go and connect everything with your TV and turn the reciever on.
11.Fallow the installation to set up your antena Choose the right sats
(8.10ku or 8.6ku, 7ku,for dish net or Nimik1.ku for bell) check if your (diseq) is
set the right way. (instuctions are in Antenna Setup )
Do a blind scan for the sat you have selected if youare usinging more than one sat
you have to scan all of them one after another.( instructions in Blind Scan.)
12. Go fix yourself a sandwich wile you wait for scans to finish.
13. Come back go to parental control and set defolt keys.
14. If you are using bell you'll have to enter the keys manually.

Antenna Setup:

How to set up your recivers Antennas (dishes(LNBs).
If needed choose language (in case if your reiciever was set to 'Factory settings'
If not press menu button on you remote control
1. Select Installation and press ok
2. Select Antenna Setup and press ok
(The screen will appear displaying a list of sattelites on the left and parameters
of a sat. on the right.)
3.Select the name of sat. on the left of the screen and press ok
(Dish Network sats are ' Echo 8.6ku and Echo 7ku)
(Bell Express Vu sat is Nimik1.ku)
Now if you are using just one dish (LNB) you do not have to change anything.
AS long as you have good quality and signal (If not try switching diseqc parameters
with 'vol button' of your remote control untill you find a signal) press exit .
But if you are using multiple dishes(LNBs) you need to have 'Diseq switch'
Diseqc Switch is a small box usually has 4 ports named 1,2,3,4 and one more port
that connects it to your reciever. All your dishes(LNBs) have to be connected to this
Diseqc switch.
Ex. If one of your dish(LNB) is pointed to recieve Ecko 8.6ku and it is connected to
a Diseqc switch box port #1 than,
Select Echo 8.6ku on the left of the screen and press ok, now look on the right side
of your screen.
Go down to select diseqc function.(diseq parameters are "off, 1, 2, 3, 4.)
Press 'vol button' on your remote control and set parameter 1. press exit.
Your Dish is set and ready for scan.
(Add another Dish)
If your other dish(LNB)is pointed to recieve Eko 7ku and it is connected to
a Diseqc switch box port #2 than, Select Echo 7ku on the left of the screen
and press ok, now look on the right side of your screen.
Go down to select diseqc function.
Press 'vol button' on your remote control and set parameter 2. press exit.
Now you have 2 dished ready for scan.
If you have more Dishes(LNBs) connected to your Diseqc switch to ports 3,4.
you have to do the same with every one of them( select them and select the
right diseqc parameter).

Blind scan:

How to do a blind scan
Befor you do a blind scan you need to upload the latest bin File in to your reviever.
(instructions are in Step by step doc.)
And set up your Dishes(LNBs)
(instructions are in Antenna Setup.doc)
If you have compleated the step by step and Antenna setup Steps
You are now ready to proceede with blind scan.
1.Press menu on your remote control.
2.Select Installation and press ok.
3.Select Blind scan and press ok.
4.Select Sattelite (use your 'vol button' to select the sat you want to scan)
4.go down and select scan-all and press ok
5.Let it finish scanning and press exit several times.
If you have more than one dish(LNB)
you have to scan all of them.

Entering keys:

Entering Keys Pansat2500a clone
1.Press menu Button on your remote control.
2.Select Parental control and press ok
3.Select second pin and enter "0000"
4.Select nagravision2 and press ok
5.Select provider ID ( 0101 is for Dish Network )
(0901 is for Bell Ex Vu)
6.Select key Number
Each provider has 2 key numbers(00 and01)
Use the'vol button' of your remote to select desired key number
Set 00 than.
7.Select Key Data first line and enter the first 16 digits of the key labeled 00.
8.Select Key Data second line and enter the last 16 digits of the key labeled 00.
9.Press ok to save.
10.Go back to Key number window and set key number to 01.
11.Select Key Data first line and enter the first 16 digits of the key labeled 01.
12.Select Key Data second line and enter the last 16 digits of the key labeled 01.
13.Press ok to save.
Exit.
Keys change constantly alway check for new keys on the net.

How do I set my reciever to factory settings?
And is this nessisary before I load a bin to my reciever. Its the pantec 2500 ultra which is cloned as the pansat

hey Nick, got a question bro...does the Pantec 2500 Ultra use the same bin as Pansat 2500 clone (277T bin file)...would appreciate the reply.

hey PT, if you have an original pansat or any original satllite reciever u wouldnt download the bin file with the "t" at the end of it...so in your case you would get the 277 bin


I also wanted to thank you Nick, you tutorial helped a lot.

Hi ppl, Anyone has JTAGED Forsat 2500 Ultra before?? I've read alot of info about it, and tryed different ways of doing it, but still no luck. Used Skymax( says Init JTAG IDCODE : FFFFFFF
Fail DCU, Plesae Restart or Reset CPU Box), than wall.exe with Jkeys ( cannot detect the device)
i checked my jtag connectons 100X.I used Db25 cable male to male it has only 11 wires) ANY Ideas??

thanks buddy ... one more question does the QSAT 2500 clone use the same bin as the PANSAT 2500 clone.

try the Jtagless fix for pansats and fortecs..its at all sites..

1) Open Blacklist Stb Updater 1.3a or 1.4
2) Browse orginal bin 222. can be found from here //www.pansatusa.com //
3) Connect from PC to REC with DB9 straight cable.
4) Keep your receiver off. DON NOT TURN THE RECEIVER ON FROM THE BACK SWICH.
5) Press Send button on BLACKLIST STB UPDATER 1.3a
5) Then turn your receiver on from the back swich with in 5 secound.
6) Wait untill download complited. DON NOT TOUCH ANYTHING UNTILL YOU SEE MESSAGE (Complited)
7) DO NOT LET THE RECEIVER TO RESTART BY IT SELF.
8) After you see message complited, Swich off back button on the back of the receiver right away.
9) Wait for 10 Secound and turn your receiver on again.
10) Enjoy Your Tv Back.

I tryed that! Wayting 5 sec than turn it on it says WRITE FAILED ER1, i also tryed different ways offered , but still nothing worked, not a sign of life

best bet is to take the receiver to the guy you bought from or to a local delear who can chk if evrything is ok or anything has to be done....sorry about that mate.

hey vasia, ur going to have to first click on default factory settings for your reciever. Once that is done than you try to connect the reciever to your comp and upload the bin, i faced the same problem
