I did some reading and ended more confuse that how I started. I found a site with a similar receiver that needs an adapter in order to work with it.
I personally don't know if is even possible.
I would really appreciate any information on the matter.
Thanks.

It is very easy to slave a dvb receiver to a older analog ird or 4dtv receiver, take a look here:
http://www.dmsiusa.com/add_a_receiver.htm

If you only have C-band then of course you only split the C-band coax, though if you do not have c/ku It is well worth the upgrade, also if you do not have a 4dtv yet, it is a great investment.

Make sure you get the right splitters not to damage anything, your 4dtv or analog receiver will be the master, so you will change polarity with it, so you will need to scan H polarity, change the channel to scan V polarity.

Great places to get what you need:

They are all local for me, and are great to deal with.

Big dish is still the best system out there.
