New member Username: Nut3rPost Number: 1 Registered: May-06 | As above, I have recently purchased a Philips 42 in lcd. Its a 42pf7420, Im happy with the unit. However I phoned the Philips tech line to ask a couple of questions. It was interesting what I found out. THe tv has S video, Component Video and HDMI. Component video does not use Pixel plus because the pixel plus is implementated before the signal passes by the component input. S video does pass thru PP. So my question is does HDMI? The tech was very clear even getting me to draw a diagram on paper as he explained it to me. He said to use PP I would need to be using S video. But he was unable to answer whether HDMI uses PP. |
