I need to know what kind of cable should I use to connect my pansat 2700A reciver to my computer. I have a preety good idea what I need but just wanted to make sure, and also even after I get the cable how do I connect it to the pc ? I'm still a newbie in this so plz explain it fully. Thx
the cable is a null modem cable thats connect to your computer's serial port (some newer computers do not have serial ports then you need a usb serial adapter) then to your receiver make sure the switch on the back of the unit is in the off position then plug in the power cord to the wall plug.easy as that, I assume yo know that you need a programer ( GTRom loader)and the latest bin. any other problem just ask.
