I tried to put my TIVO harddrive into my computer with hopes of downloading all the recorded files onto another hard drive. My computer could not see the drive, it said it was unformatted. When I returned it to my Direct TV Tivo, it will power up then go to a blank grey screen. Any advise? HELP!!

As for the months going by, I didn't check the date, was just looking for a link to drivers and stumbled past your post here. Sry.
I've had the same problem myself in the past, never did quite figure out why it happened, I didn't change the drive in any way, just plugged it into a Linux system, COPIED one of the ts files from the drive mounted as read-only, and then plugged it back into my cable box, never worked again, cost me $250 to replace for the cable company.
