Currently I have a home theater setup where the cable wire goes from the VCR to the TV. The audio Ins and Outs go through a receiver so I can have surround sound.

I am purchasing a new LCD TV that only has the following inputs: A/V (Composite), Component Video, DVI, HDMI, S-Video. How do I get my cable to my TV now? Do I need some type of converter?

Look more closely at the LCD TV- most have a Ca/TV input.Unless its an LCD monitor with no tuner. If not, you need a switcher box or a cable box with a CA/TV into the switcher and an component etc output or outputs.

Not to be dumb but is "Ca/TV input" like a standard coax cable connection that screws on?
