When I transfer the recording from tape onto the PC using Pixela v1.0, the picture quality deteriorates. The video recording that has been transferred to the PC is a few shades darker, with the result that night scenes appear nearly totally dark. Daytime videos are also darker, and the color are slightly off. Are there any settings or software available to lighten the colours ?
When the recording is played on TV, being connected to the camcorder, the video quality is just as good as viewing on the camcorder itself. There is no deterioration in the picture quality.
