How to do blind scans

We have a fortec ultra. Have lost a ton of stations in the past 2 days. A few VOD but mostly normal stations. Thanks for the help.

Anonymous	Posted on Monday, January 23, 2006 - 20:48 GMT As for blind scan on 2700 it is very simple. Deletel all of the channels first by going into the 'edit channel' menu. Then go to 'antenna setup' and find the blind scan option near the bottom. Pick the satelite that you want to scan. If you have dish pro, make sure you you change the setting to scan vertical only. If you have legacy lnb, just go ahead with scan. Repeat the same procedure for all of the satellite.
