In my nagravision, there is only one set of code slots -- No nagravision 1 and nagravision 2, just nagravision. What key do I need to add? My system is fortec.

i have fortec ultra and i put the new keys for 1/17/2006 and still not workiing what im i doing wrong. still saying scrambled or bad channel .
I need some help . I am absolutely new to key configuration etc. I bought a PANSAT 2700 receiver about a month ago. It worked fine until today. Around 5 PM, I lost all the channels. I have two dishes and have Echo 3 and Echo 8.6 satelites configured. On checking with my friends I have been advised to change key values. I use channel 8282 to bring up the menue and from ther I choose Nagravision 1. This brings me to the screen where the service provider and key numbers are shown. I go to dish network as the service provider. For keys I can only select 00 or 01. For each of the key I get only one rwo of hex values that I can update. Whereas most of the posts here provide two rows for both key00 and key 01. Where am I going wrong.

Velmar...U have a pansat..8282 is NOT for Pansat, thats for a coo*lsat receiver!...go read the thread here "How To Input keys"..its a detailed step by step instruction for your/all pansats and most other receivers too..

how do you change the current key to key01 from key00
I have a multistar 2500, same as pansat and digiwave i believe
at dss.Newbies ...is a file...to instal on Fortec Ultra ...up to naw ..did not have this option n2 ...to instal new keys .. This promese to "fix" this so to do go : http:// www..dss-newbies.net/
Hello Lk, I am glad to see you back here. I left this site because of all the filth and bashing that was going on. You have been a great help to me during my past year of learing about this hobby. I like to think that it is because of you and what you do for others that has made it possible to get into something with as much reward as I have found. I do not watch much tv, maybe one to two hours a day. I like my local news and some CNN other than that my tv is black all day. When I do turn it on it is because you taught me how. And what I do watch is so much enhanced now that you showed me how to get closed captions. I probably won't know if you respond to this message as I don't visit these pages much as I have stated so let me close with this thought: Thank you, again and again.

These keys are for input under Nagra2 and you can use them in all receivers. Does not matter which brand they are !! Put them in and begin watching TV !!

Does anyone know the key for N1 because that's all i have. I hape a pansat 2500 reciever and i lost the signal jan 17 2006, which was yesterday for me.

U don't need N1 keys...U need the posted above and below N2 keys!...and read the "how to Input keys" topic/thread here, If U don't know how to input them!...better than that is to install the pansat 270T clone safe bin with autoroll..keys will automatically roll for U , every time they change!..its at [link removed] (register-Free)..."Files" at bottom of page...Pantec area files...270T ..download it and then upload it into your receiver..
I am very new to this so please be patient with me. What is supposed to be on the line that has 00. I believe I changed that as well because the 08,09,88,89 lines are exactly as you have them here and it isn't working for me. So could you please give me that 00 line? I have a viewsat, if that means anything.

it's true.. all u need is N2 keys...and it is working fine.. also, if it is not working even after putting your keys, try setting your disequ switch again. They might have changed when u flashed new bin file..

HIGHLY CONFUSED HERE!! PLZ HELP I have a pansat 2700 for a month now & everything was working fine till 2 days ago or so & suddenly everything went off & now i get "scrambled or bad chanel" So i did get the new keys from here & tried them. I DID put the N1 keys for both 00 & 01 (though they remained the same as before) & I also inputed the new N2 keys...both for 0101 00 & 0101 01. I also double & triple checked that i am puting in the correct keys & its still not working!! I have no clue what esle to check or what to do. Only thing i havent done is what "LK is saying, which is to set the Disequ switch. I dont know how to do that. So someone plz help.
