I just got a 30" widescreen tv and I have DirecTV also. When I view it in widescreen everything is distorted. I adjusted the aspect ratio in the DTV settings to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks guys Im real new at this.
Some more information would be useful but ill take a guess. Depending on the display technology, some tv's have a tube alignment feature either manual or automatic (check owners manual). Rear projection CRT models are notorious for this when they are moved. Check settings on both tv and cable box. Check your connections. If all else fails call the manufacturers. Hope that help some.
