I have a 42 in LG plasma and today purchased a Sony upconvert DVD player. Unfortunately, if the HDMI output from the DVD player to a DVI input on the LG is connected on both ends, the DVD player will not function properly. It functions properly under all other circumstances. Has anyone ever heard of this issue? If so what is the solution?
