We have a Panasonic TV which used to play perfectly okay either on TV or through our Yamaha DVD player. Then we bought a new Philips DVD Player and attempted to connect it. The TV still plays in colour on TV Channels but only B&W through the DVD player. We changed the DVD back to the Yamaha thinking this would at least give us colour back but alas no! Now neither of the DVD players will play in colour and we do not know where to start. We have tried different cables to no avail. Any suggestions appreciated.
Checking your dvd player setup configuration may be useful. I met the same problem before. Otherwise, you can try to connect your dvd players with the second TV, if the same thing happens, your dvd player may have problem.
