wait... abiel, you have the right LNB, about the right dish size ... BUT, PAS9 has only about 12 channels pointed to the US (conus) most are just feeds in Ku band...
the rest is all C-band and videoguard encrypted which your Pansat2700A is not capable of decoding.

Look this page up:
http://www.lyngsat.*com/pas9.html

Now, make sure you calculated azymuth and elevation correctly. pas9 is @ 58.oW
If you need an online calculator try this one:

ok, thanks!. what I really want is to get the TBN Enlace chanel I know it is on Intelsat Americas 5 too, is there a specific setup I need to do on the pansat receiver or just look for the signal and scan for chanels?
thank you for any help.

TBN Enlace is available on Intelsat Americas 13 but is also C-band
Your best shot is Intelsat Americas 5 at 97.0°W http://www.lyngsat.*com/ia5.html
You have an universal LNB so on your Pansat 2700A
Go to Installation
Make sure Intelsat Americas 5 is selected (thats T-5/Ku on your pansat)
LNB type Universal
LNB Lo.Freq. 10750
22khz OFF
Make sure you have signal quality. get the calculator and use it to figure out where to point your dish. Or, use the chart on this page to calculate via zipcode ( http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/products/installation/azimuth/index.shtml )

exit and press OK if asks you to save.
Go to BLIND SCAN
let it run and it will also list the channels automatically.
You should be OK.
Let me know how it goes.

Errata

abiel, I gave you a bad page for latitude longitude by zipcode yesterday... that page will only give you azymuth and elevation for DN birds.

To make sure you are precised pointing to T-5 use the following pages:

latitude & longitude:
Enter your zip code and write down your coordinants. OR... download this program (requires Java) from: (http://vps.arachnoid.com/satfinder/)

satellite direction:
There you enter your North Latitude and West Longitude - enter the satellite orbit (in your case 97.0W) and hit calculate.

Good luck,
