Silver Member Username: FyiDallas, Texas Post Number: 509 Registered: May-05 | Power off. With remote: Mute + 1 + 8 + 2 + Power Arrow down to Option or Service. Press Enter for the second menu. Lamp Hours and Lamp Reset are there. Avoid left or right arrows as you could change something. Power off to exit Service Menu. |

When I executed the command (I assume the "+" is the volume plus") the TV powered up with the cable station last tuned to. The cable box is a HDTV DVR which is always on (no off button - must unplug it to to turn off.) Is there something else I should do before executing the dispay command? |

Silver Member Username: FyiDallas, Texas Post Number: 511 Registered: May-05 | The cable box doesn't matter. The + is NOT a command. Make sure the set is off. It's Mute, 1, 8, 2, Power. The tv will power up and say "Factory Loading". Up comes the first service menu. My apologies for the confusion. |

Called for service under warranty after 10 months -- 3 blinking lights and he changed bulb and ballast. What is the normal amount of usage before the replacement bulb starts to dim? I have had the new bulb in for 12 months. |

This fellow has 18 months and over 6600. https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/home-video/183094.html I've heard of some that fail in less than 1000 and I know of two owners with over 10,000.
