I accidently turned my NEC Plasma Screen 4210W off at the wall socket for a split second. It was on and working perfectly at the time. Now all I get is a flashing red n green power light. No internal motor sound. No picture.
Problem sounds lime its at the power supply level related to an overlaoded capacitior or something. Sounds like a protective cut off. let us know. sounds repairable to me.
If you go to avsforum.com, there were many threads on the Panny426wduy ( 6th generation) on the autoshutdown problem. Look for posts by Techniwizrad, a panasonic plasma service person. Although different brands, the situation is identical. We are tralking a cheap part for a 100% shutdown problem.
