Saw this TVin Sam's Club for a good price. It says EDTV, and built-in HD tuner. I'm not really sure what built-in HD tuner means. Does that mean it is capable of HDTV? Any help?

Yes, it is capable of HDtv, but it down-converts the 780p/1080i signal to a 480p signal which is a lower resolution, hence EDtv. With the biult-in HD tuner you can actually receive free HD signals over the air using an HD antannae, basically rabbit ears. This option is only available in the US, though I've heard you can receive these signals in Canada if your within range.
