im having problems switching from echo-3 back to echo-8.6. echo 3 channels come up as soon as i select it. but echo 8.6 says bad or scrambled channel. but it comes after turning it on off for a long time or messing around. i hve an eaglestar receiver

i am having the same problem. if i tune into a channel from echo 9, then i go back to an echo 8.6 channel , it says scrambled. power off the receiver and turn back on , the echo 8.6 channels will come back. why this is happening. my receiver is pansat 2500a. anybody have any clue. please help.

I had this same problem. Not sure which change fixed it, but here is what I did and mine now works 99.9% of the time. Changed from a dish500 to two dishes and moved switch closer to the receiver (required two long coax runs). Also resolved a similar problem with a dishpro single dish by using channel master to change all horizontal freq. to verticle freq. Maybe this will help...goodluck
