I'm sure this is one of the #1 newb questions but I've got to ask.
So, starting to save up for a new PC monitor but I also want to pick up a really nice tv as well - why not get a nice set that does both Would need DVI input and whatever the nextgen console systems use for highest quality.
I was leary on getting a plasma due to burn in but Panasonic's latest propoganda says their new sets have burn in equivalent to a CRT display. (The only real brand I have researched was Panasonic so pardon my ignorance)
With LCDs I'm scared of the response times and contrast/shading depth. If I prodominantly play first person shooter games on it, I don't want to notice some horrible frame lag issues.
Any help/suggestions you can give would be appreciated. Budgetwise I'm looking around $2000
